Hey, !
During my interview on the Happy, Healthy Parent Summit this week, the host asked me why parents struggle to be happy.
I think the reason MOST women struggle to be happy, whether they're moms or not, is that they're searching for the wrong thing.
A yummy coffee makes me happy. Penguins and sunflowers make me happy. Pretty much anything purple makes me downright giddy.
But they don't fulfill me.
They don't give my life purpose and meaning.
This sort of happiness is also fleeting.
I can be happy when my 13-year-old gives me a hug, then unhappy when she's a brat to her younger brother.
Instead of some surface-level "happiness," we're better off when we strive for contentment. Gratitude. Soul-level JOY that can be present even in the tough times when you're not necessarily "happy."
But how do you GET that level of joy?
- Stop comparing yourself to other people.
- Let go of the expectations of others.
- Know your purpose and LIVE it. (You purpose is NOT to be happy, by the way. It's much bigger than yourself.)
- Know your worth, hands-down, without a doubt.
- Know your core values and live by them. Be a decent human.
- BE yourself. Stop hiding and pretending.
- Deal with the emotional baggage that makes you feel not good enough.
No sweat, right?
I never said it would be easy.
But if you're constantly looking for surface-level solutions, you'll always have surface-level happiness. Fleeting. Unfulfilling. Always wanting some elusive "more."
Are you ready to get off the hamster wheel of happiness?
Are you ready to experience soul-level JOY that comes from ending imposter syndrome, stopping the self-doubt, and dealing with the emotional baggage that makes you feel “Not Good Enough” so you can radiate confidence and be yourself in everything you do?
Then my Confidence & Authenticity Private Mentorship may be just what you're looking for. Because the things I mentioned above can be tough to do, especially if you're trying to do it on your own. But they're 100% worth the effort, and MUCH easier to navigate when you have a guide.
I've been there. I've had to rediscover my worth, rebuild my confidence, and restore my fundamental identity.
And I want to be your guide to help you through this process.
Because being YOU is literally your birthright. And you're worth it.
