Think back to your childhood dreams...
What did you want to be when you grew up?
An astronaut? A doctor? A veterinarian who was ALSO a circus performer?
When I was a kid, I wanted to be am author. Up until about 7th grade, I dreamed of writing best-selling horror novels. In high school, I wrote (really bad!) teen romance novels.
But then reality set in...
I knew I needed to make a LIVING until I made it big as a best-selling author. And, truth be told, I didn't think my writing was good enough to be published.
So I got a Bachelor's of Biological Sciences, followed by a Master's of Physical Therapy. Hard-core science all the way, with very little time for creative writing.
Slowly, the dream faded away...
But it didn't die.
And finally, late one night in 2012, heart hammering and hands shaking, I hit submit on my very first Kindle book and became a published author!
Fulfilling that dream totally changed the way I saw myself. It boosted my sense of self-worth in a BIG way. Not so much for the accomplishment itself, but for the effort and dedication I'd made to MYSELF to make that dream come true.
And after I did it once, I knew I could do it again. And again. And again.
Now, my 9th book is sitting on my editor's desk.
Sometimes we honestly grow out of our childhood dreams. We no longer WANT to be a ballerina who's also a nurse AND a professional skydiver.
But what about your grown-up dreams? The ones you had last year... Last month... Last week...
The ones that simmer at the edges of your conscious mind with a flickering tongue that say, "Feed me, or you'll never be satisfied."
I read an article recently that claimed that 98% of people die without fulfilling their dreams.
It seems too hard.
They don't think they're capable of doing it.
They don't think they're GOOD enough.
But you, my dear, are worthy of fulfilling your dreams.
Don't let fear, insecurity, or a lack of confidence hold you back.
Don't let your Inner Mean Girl bully you into giving up.
Because you, , are worth it.
You're WORTH the time, effort, dedication, sacrifice, and emotional and financial investment it takes to get there.
If self-doubt is making you play small, if self-sabotage is holding you back from going after your dreams, then get on my calendar and let's see if my Confidence & Authenticity Private Mentorship is right for
you.
Because dreams don't die. They're an inextinguishable flame. But if they don't have the space to flourish, they burn away your confidence. Every day you hold yourself back from fulfilling your dreams is a day you feel worse about yourself and more undeserving.
, you deserve better than that.
