Hey {{ subscriber.name }}! Today is my 50th birthday! It's hard to believe. In some ways, my mind thinks I'm still in my late 30s. Then my body reminds me that I'm CLEARLY not! Haha! Getting older can carry with it a lot of emotions, especially in a society that worships youth. My husband took me shopping over the weekend, and it was a very
frustrating experience. So much of the clothing out there is designed for 20-something-year-old bodies, not ones with a menopause middle. Either that, or it's styles I see on women two decades older than me. I'm just not ready for that yet! I left the stores with nothing to show for it (though my HUBBY got a shirt with my coupon), and feeling fat, old, frumpy, and ugly. I'm talking ALL the feels! Thankfully, it didn't last long. I used
