Don't get me wrong... I like money as much as the next gal. I need lots of it to fund my ballroom dance hobby and my
addiction to all things purple or sparkly 😜
And I firmly believe that when you make more, you can do more good in the world.
Not to mention, you deserve to be paid for the work you do. After all, you run a business, not a charity. (Though even CHARITIES need money to
operate...)
BUT...
Here's where many entrepreneurs get it wrong...
Just like money doesn't buy happiness, it doesn't buy confidence, either.
My clients say some version of this to me all the time: "If I just made more money (had more clients, was better at sales, etc), I wouldn't doubt myself as much." They think they'd be more confident if only they were more successful.
Sorry, chicky... It doesn't work that way.
You can make 6 and 7 figures in your business and still doubt yourself. You can be the most successful person in the more and still be haunted by past experiences that steal your confidence and make you feel Not Good Enough. You can triple your sales and still feel like a fraud.
I've seen it.
I get it... Teaching people how to make more money is sexy. It sells really well. After all, who doesn't want to make more money?
But too many people seek money and success as a band-aid approach to a broken self-esteem. Your net worth does NOT improve your self-worth. It doesn't determine your identity or give you the confidence to BE yourself.
In fact, I've mentored many women who, the more money they made, the MORE they were afraid of being "found out."
To end imposter syndrome, to stop self-doubt, to be TRULY confident, you need to deal
