Hey, Beautiful!
What do you want?
What material things do you want to have?
What do you want to DO? To FEEL? To BE?
I asked myself these questions a few months ago. I was really good at answering what I want to do, feel, and be. I was NOT good at defining the material things I wanted to have.
My first thought was, "I don't want anything. I have everything I need."
And I DO have everything I need. But that wasn't the question.
The question was, what do I WANT?
As soon as I gave myself permission to want things, I surprised myself by filling 3 pages.
Some
were as simple as "I want to see The Lion King" musical live on stage. Others were more profound, like "I want to hold my published memoir in my hands, sell thousands of copies, and make a profound impact on women everywhere."
What's on YOUR list?
Give yourself permission to want. It isn't selfish. You are worthy of fulfilling your desires. You are worthy of making your dreams and goals come
true.
I'm not saying you should spend your mortgage money on a pair of Jimmy Choos. I'm just saying it's OK to want them. Write down your desires. Open your eyes to the opportunities, and be open to
receive the things you want.
Some may arrive in your life quickly or with very little effort. Others will take more time or require hard work and sacrifice. Still others, you'll decide you don't
really want after all, and they'll be replaced with goals that are more in alignment with your life and values.
You'll also be surprised how giving yourself permission to want - and receive - things
in your personal life flows over into receiving more in your business.
It all goes back to your self-worth.
Knowing your are worthy of what you desire.
Because you are.
