There's so much talk these days about having things "your way."
"Do business your way."
"Order your burger exactly the way you like it."
I even talk about it a lot: living by your core values, building a business around your
needs/schedule/passions, honoring your preferences. Because there's definitely a time and place for all of that.
But not exclusively. Because we live in community with other people. With healthy and appropriate responsibilities to others.
As much as I'm obsessed with with purple, I keep it largely out of my bedroom because my husband ISN'T obsessed with purple. He loves
orange and teal. So my office is a purple explosion. And our living room has lots of teal accents. And we each have our own throw blankets in our favorite colors.
Because relationships take compromise, understanding, and mutual respect. BOTH of our preferences matter.
And when it comes to parenting style, the same holds true. But it's not always easy to come to an agreement
that you both feel good about (think bedtime routines, screen time...)
You make so many decisions about your kids every day. But what if you and your spouse disagree?
My friend Melissa Burris is developing a course called Teammate Parenting to help married
couples finally parent together, even if they have different parenting styles! And she’s pre-selling it NOW for the lowest price she’ll ever offer!
It’s only $57 and you’ll lock in bonuses like extra worksheets, 90-day money back guarantee, direct input into the course, and more!
