Can you believe it's FEBRUARY already?! I'm getting all psyched up to watch the Olympics next week, only I can't get NBC! We cut our
cable years ago, and our antenna picks up every channel EXCEPT NBC! (If you've got any great suggestions of how to pick up NBC on the antenna, please email me and let me know! Haha!)
But the tech gremlins aren't just attacking my TV. They've been all over my website, too! Let's just say that WordPress and theme updates have NOT been my friend lately! So I've been a little quiet over here.
Finally, I'm saying the heck with it! I usually write a blog post and then link to it in my email to you. But, yeah... that's not happening till I get OptimizePress to play nicely with WordPress.

As for now, instead of sending you to a blog on my website, I'm simply gonna write what's on my heart for you directly into this email. Here goes....
I disappeared. More like, I faded away. Slowly. I didn't realize it until it was too late. See, I learned early on that it wasn't OK to be myself. Heck, it wasn't even safe to be myself. So I let myself fade into the background. I let myself be defined by other people's expectations of me. I gave up and gave in to an abusive (now ex) husband who systematically tore down every shred of self-esteem I ever managed to scrape together for myself. I gave up because,
frankly, I was exhausted and tired of fighting.
But it came at a terrible price, and that price was Me. My happiness, my personality, my very identity. By the time we got divorced, I didn't know who I was any more.
Have you ever had one of those moments? That moment when you look at yourself in the mirror and wonder, "Who am I and where the heck did I go?" Many of my
clients lost themselves to trauma, like I did.Many disappeared to their kids. Some to their jobs and businesses. Some to chronic care taking.They put other people's needs ahead of their own for so long. They put their needs in the back seat for so long, they're barely in the car anymore.
Any of that sound familiar? If so, I can help. Because, you see, my story doesn't end with my
disappearance. And neither does yours!
I spent years figuring out how to rebuild my self-worth and rediscover who I was. I found a lot of garbage along the way, and a lot of really good stuff. Most importantly, I discovered that you have to do things in the right order if you want lasting change. I wish I'd had someone to walk me through the process.
That's why I
do what I do. Because you don't have years to figure this out. You deserve better. You have a big purpose in this world - you know you do - and if your past keeps holding you back, it's time to make peace with your past once and for all.
