Hey, Beautiful!
First of all, I want to start by saying "Thank You" for your support of my business this year. It's an honor and a privilege to share with you tips on confidence, rediscovering the heart and soul of who you are, and healing from your past so you can BE the amazing masterpiece you were created to be.
Thank you for being on this journey with me.
Your time is precious. Every time you open an email from me, you not only affirm my mission to help every women love and live her authentic, Radiant Self, but you also say yes to yourself.
Because, , you are worthy of healing. You are worthy of loving yourself. You are worthy of being your most confident best.
And now, the tip.
If you're like most people, you've been thinking a lot about the past year - the highs and the lows, the accomplishments and the setbacks.
It's easy to beat yourself up for the things you haven't accomplished, or the things that didn't go as planned.
But I started a ritual a few years ago that changed my life, and I want to share it with you.
It's called the Win List.
Every year, around this time, I make a list of all my professional and personal accomplishments - both big and small. The list is usually MUCH longer than I think it will be!
It's a huge boost to your confidence to see all your wins over the year. To get started on your own list, think about these areas:
- Goals you met
- Actions you took
- Relationships you built
- Progress you made
- Fears you faced (even just once!)
- Wounds you healed (even a little bit)
- Times you were brave
- Times you stood up for yourself
- Ways you practiced self-care
- Things you let go of
- Things you learned about yourself
A colleague recently gave me a great suggestion to make the Win List even more powerful: write down your wins AS THEY HAPPEN. Put the slips of paper in a jar, and re-read them at the end of the year. That way you don't forget any of them! AND, you get to celebrate them TWICE - once when you write them down, and once when you review them at the end of the year. I love that idea!
The Win List not only boosts your confidence; it also increases your joy. It's about gratitude. Savoring the moment. Not taking life for granted.
A second powerful practice I started this year is keeping a Gratitude Journal. I'll tell you more about that next time. It's New Year's Eve, after all, and you probably have some celebrating to do ;)
