Hey, !

I've been a little quiet on email lately, because things have been a bit crazy in my world.

We had a flood not too long ago that ruined the carpets in the back half of the house - kids' bedrooms, hallway, and a closet. We removed the carpet right away, but put off doing anything else about it.

Finally, we pulled out ALL the furniture so we could put down Kilz on the floor to seal in the odor. While we were at it, my husband pulled off all the baseboards and sealed around the edges to help keep out scorpions. (Benefits of being married to a man who owns a pest control company!)

Needless to say, it was a much bigger project than I anticipated. AND all that furniture took over our dining room and living room. (That's our dining room in the picture,with the kids' mattresses on our table) Add in the start of our new homeschool year AND a new daily livestream challenge I started, and my newsletter got a little a neglected.

Here's to moving on imperfectly!
